Day 1.

Driving – 8 hours with stops

Distance – 370 km.

We will pick you up from the hotel and we will drive to the “Sai-Xonash” yurt camp. On the way there we will stop for an excursion to the Xaiyrakan mountain (100km from Kyzyl) – one of the most sacred places of Tuva which was sanctified by His Holiness the 14th Dalai-Lama in 1992 and worshipped as well by shamans. As the saying goes, the Mountain will give healing and strength to those who visit it with an open heart.

Lunch in café in Kyzyl-Mazhalyk. Drive to “Sai-Xonash” yurt camp which neighbors with the nomads’ camps. (70km from Kyzyl-Mazhalyk to Sai-Xonash) It is located in the place called Ak, an extremely beautiful area surrounded by high mountains, forests and pure spring waters. It has cozy yurts and a banya (Russian style sauna). Every yurt has 4 beds and Tuvan traditional furniture. People living on this very isolated part of land breed animals such as sheep, cows, horses, goats and yaks. They still live in accordance with the living traditions of Tuva. The tourists will be met by a Tuvan nomadic family. Following the Tuvan hospitality tradition, the guests will be offered some Tuvan milk tea. In our first meeting with our shaman, they will make an introductory lesson with explanations about the course. History and practice of throat singing in shamanism.

Dinner and overnight in the yurts.

Day 2.

07:00 – Meditation.

8:00 – Master-class of making tuvan cheese byshtak for breakfast.

10:00 – 13:00 – Theory of the sound. Shamanic diet. The practice of fasting for longevity and lightness.

13:30 – Lunch

14:30 – 17:30 – Playing traditional instruments: drum, jew’s-harp, Jemez.

18:00 – Dinner. For dinner we will have Tuvan traditional food with a previous Tuvan traditional way of sheep cooking.

19:30 – After dinner you will be shown the process of making araga – Tuvan traditional alcohol drink made from fermented milk. Evening meditation. Overnight at the yurt camp.

Day 3.

07:00 – Morning practice of nature voice opening.

8:00 – Breakfast; master class of making öreme – fresh crème. The nomadic family will introduce you the rich variety of Tuvan traditional dairy products.

10:00 – 13:00 – The soul. The technics of the soul recovering. The meaning of chakras in shamanism.

13:30 – Lunch

14:30 – 17:30 – The body as the main sound conductor. Shamanic massage.

18:30 – Dinner. After dinner we will go for a horseback excursion to the neighboring nomadic camps.

Evening purification ritual “Five elements”.

Day 4.

07:00 – Morning practice “The sound of the Sun”

8:00 –Breakfast; master class of making sarzhag – Tuvan traditional butter. The nomadic family will introduce you the rich variety of Tuvan traditional dairy products.

10:00 – 13:00 – Communication with the Nature, animals and plants. Looking for everybody’s animal-totem.

13:30 – Lunch

14:30 – 17:30 – How to develop psychic abilities. Future prediction.


Evening meditation: The third eye opening. Spiritual realization. The connection with the subtle worlds, the interaction with the thin worlds in everyday life, in problem solutions.

Day 5.

Early breakfast and drive to Kyzyl. We will drive to Bizhiktig-Xaya, a Mountain with ancient petroglyphs discovered by the Russian archeologist A. Andrianov. The Mountain bears more than 300 petroglyphs which date back to the Bronze Age depicting scenes of hunting, as well as an image of Buddha which dates back to 1358. We will also see Kizhi-Közhee statue, a monument to an unknown hero (second half of the Ist millennium B.C.). One more excursion of the day is the visit to “Ustuu-Khuree” monastery. Ustuu-Khuree was a real masterpiece of Tuvan architecture having no analogies anywhere else in the territory of Tuva. The monastery was one of the richest, if not the largest ones in Tuva at the time. In 1930, it was closed, in 1937, demolished. The priests and the monks were subjected to persecution. In 1999, the government of Russia, admitting the historical and architectural value of the unique temple, made a decision to rebuild it. International festival of live music “Ustuu-Xuree” is dedicated to the rebuilding of the temple. Lunch will be on the way to Kyzyl.
